Meshiah

Meshiah is Hebrew for Messiah and is the Anointed One.

The Meshiah Jesus fulfilled Old Covenant prophecies of Messiah foretold by Prophets of Old Covenant. Those given in the above lists are only some of the prophecies fulfilled. Some are still to be fulfilled.

The Book of Acts read in its entirety gives a more complete historical view of the beginning ministry of the gospel by those who worked closely with our Lord Jesus before His ascension and who were given understanding of prophecy fulfillment from the Lord Jesus as God and Messiah, verified in the first four Books of New Covenant. It also gives account of some of those who studied and worked with His original followers, in particular Paul, specially called, and writer of certain letters (known as Epistles) following the Book of Acts.

The books in New Covenant were written by Matthew and Simon Peter, original followers of the Lord, Mark who wrote on behalf of Simon Peter, Luke who wrote on behalf of Paul, John, also one of the original followers and writer of the first letter of John, James and Jude who were brothers to Jesus, and John the Elder, writer of the second and third letters of John and the book of Revelation.

All teaching and learning from the law and prophets is in understanding and prophecy.
