In the Bible, we are given the answers to questions such as who God is, His eternal plan for us, and how and why it is important to be kind to others. It has the answers we need such as how we can become saved. And it has some answers that are not quite as relevant, but good to know.

One may ask "If He has given us answers, then why not just say it in black and white. Why all the parables and predictions? Why all of the mysteries?"

Because God wants us to look for Him.
Deuteronomy 4 29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. 30 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; 31 (For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.
God wants us to seek Him.

When we turn to Scripture, we find Him.
1 Corinthians 2 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?but we have the mind of Christ.
If we sincerely look for Him and His Truth (without preconceived negative opinions), we will find Him and understand a God who loves us (John 3:16; Matt. 7:7-8). If we immerse ourselves in His Truth, we will understand His wisdom. In understanding His wisdom, the mysteries no longer remain, but answers instead.
